1 - Server Gameplay Rules

1 - Expectations of Behavior

We encourage players to cooperate and compete in a positive environment, but never in a way that disrespects or abuses other players. In short: Be respectful to all players. These rules are in place to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all players.

2 - Reporting Rule Breakers

Reporting players helps us improve our reporting system and allow for a better-quality gameplay experience for our players. Reporting a player can be done by using /report in-game.

3 - Reporting Server Bugs

Reporting bugs to our team allows us to fix and improve the gameplay experience around the network. Please include as much information and detail as possible when reporting bugs so that our team is able to understand and resolve the issue.

4 - Player Safety & Account Security

All Freedom players are responsible for their own accounts and personal information. Players also take full responsibility for any actions which may occur on their accounts. DO NOT share any of your account or personal information with anyone!

5 - Behavior that is not allowed

Examples of behaviors that are not allowed, regardless of intent, include but are not limited to:

Chat Abuse
Abusive language, inappropriate topics or jokes, misleading information, or any kind of spam (including switching instances).

Advertisements
Advertising third-party websites, servers, discord names/tags, social media.

Threats
Threatening to or actively doxing, DDOSing, harassing or blackmailing others, sharing personal information, or sending malicious links.

Unfair Advantages
Disallowed modifications, macros, bug abuse, exploiting, boosting, scripting, or punishment evading.

Account Abuse
Selling, trading, giving away any accounts, or sharing accounts between players.

Game Abuse
Griefing, encouraging rule-breaking, inappropriate builds or drawings.

Game Trading
Exchange of game content, items, currency, services, or accounts through external third-party platforms or unauthorized external game trading platforms. This extends to, but is not limited to, activities like organizing or participating in games of chance, including gambling or the establishment of casinos on the server.

Giveaways
Giveaways and advertisements of giveaways are not allowed in Freedom. Please /report anyone you see advertising a giveaway. If you participate in a giveaway, you will be at risk of receiving a punishment.

6 - Consequences

Players found breaking these rules can expect a suspension of chat privileges or access to the Freedom Server and Discord. Our rules are here to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all players.

Further expectations after breaking our rules:

A player’s behavior and their previous mutes or bans will impact the length of future punishments.
Over time good behavior can reduce the length of future punishments.
Players are able to appeal punishments through the Appeals Section.

We reserve the right to change our rules at any time and under special circumstances, the moderation team may issue bans or mutes at their own discretion.
